Squash Court Rules
In an effort to protect two of the best squash courts in Coastal Virginia, we would like to remind you of club rules regarding their use. Although the practice has been at times to allow the courts to be used by children for other play, this has been against posted club rules. The Fitness Committee recently reviewed the squash rules, and it was decided the following rules shall be enforced to protect courts from damage:
- The squash courts may be used for the game of squash only.
- Appropriate footwear, shirts and equipment required. "Non-Marking" black soled shoes permitted. No bare feet. No exceptions!
- Protective eyewear is required for players 18 years and younger and is highly recommended for players 19 years and older.
- Children 12-17 years old may use courts without parent supervision. However they must have a signed waiver (available at the fitness center front desk).
- Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Lender equipment is available at fitness center front desk. Borrower is responsible for all damaged equipment.
- Reservations for courts may be made at the fitness center front desk. Children may not make reservations. Reservations cannot be made more than one week in advance.
- Children 12-17 years old and parents with accompanied children must concede to any adults waiting to use the courts.
We hope to see members of ages on the courts!

- Your reservation is for 1 hour max.
- The fitness center sells squash supplies of all sorts and the Tennis Shop can restring your racquet too!
