Norfolk Yacht and Country Club is proud to offer our Wine Club, a club within the club for members who love all things wine. The Wine Club offers perks and privileges valued at nearly $1,000 annually for just $24 per month. Read on to learn more about this exciting program.
Dues, Fees, Benefits
- The Wine Club membership is for a calendar year.
- A calendar year commitment is required.
- Membership begins immediately and monthly billing will happen on the first day of each month.
- Dues
- Dues will be billed $24 month per membership.
- Dues for single members will be 50% of monthly dues.
- Wine Shop and Wine Event purchases at cost + 10%
- Members may purchase wine through Wine Shop at cost plus an admin fee, plus applicable sales tax. Sales taxes apply (6% off-premise consumption; 12% on premise consumption).
- The club admin fee is 10% of the wine’s cost to NYCC. Wines purchased at Tastings and Wine Dinner events will also reflect the 10% admin fee.
- Corkage Fee – Service Charge Only
- For wines served while dining: a service charge of $3 per bottle will apply and be paid to your server
- For wines served at private banquets or acquired outside of NYCC: a $20 corkage fee will apply per bottle served.
Events
- NYCC will hold at least four (4) wine tastings and three (3) wine dinners each calendar year.
- Wine Club members are required to make a reservation at all wine events to facilitate event planning.
- Some events may be held for the exclusive attendance of Wine Club members only.
