Entry Fee & Deadline: The $50.00 entry fee covers the Friday Evening Skipper’s Meeting, regatta, picnic buffet reception and awards ceremony at NYCC (1730 Saturday) for the skipper plus up to four crew, free dockage for racing boats at NYCC piers Friday and Saturday nights, and no cost guest access (skipper + 4 crew) to the NYCC facilities (outdoor pool and fitness center) Saturday after the race. Additional crew may attend the picnic and enjoy guest privileges for $15 per head. No entries accepted after the end of the skippers’ meeting.
Entries: This race is part of the BBSA sponsored Southern Bay Distance Racing Series. NOR. 

Course and Times: Course will be within Hampton Roads Harbor and Norfolk Harbor Reach. Racing mark designators will conform to the CCV Racing marks for Hampton Roads Harbor as published in the current CCV Racing Guide. First class flag at 0930 (RRS rule 26). Boats not finished by 1500 will be scored DNF. 

Skippers’ Meeting: 1830 on Friday, July 12th at the NYCC Skippers’ Lounge.  Fleet splits will be announced at the meeting and online. Copies of the CCV Racing marks will be available.

Race Concept: The regatta will be point-to-point, following one of a number of published courses.  Awards will be presented to the top 3 boats in each class/fleet. Sailing instructions will be published on this webpage, as will race results and photographs.

Classes: PHRF Non-Spinnaker and Cruising. NS boats may be split into fleets based on PHRF ratings. Fleet flags will be identified at the Skippers’ Meeting on July 12th. NS boats may fly double headsails; single headsails only for Cruising class.

Rules: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2017-2020.
