The Norfolk Yacht and Country Club offers members two renovated dining rooms which are open six days a week. Each offers a unique dining experience.
Located on the second floor of the 60,000 square foot clubhouse, restaurants include The Deck for casual family dining and 36° North, our new adult bar and grill. Each month specials and themed buffets vary throughout the restaurants including the popular Seafood Buffet, Sunday Brunch, and Family Pasta Night.
The Deck
The Deck is Norfolk Yacht's casual family dining restaurant. It offers a number of themed buffets and specials throughout the month as well as a bountiful breakfast and brunch buffet each Sunday. You can frequently find diners enjoying the beautiful sunsets each evening through the floor to ceiling windows and on the outdoor patio, which is open seasonally. The Deck is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
36° North
NYCC's newly renovated adult bar and grill 36° North is situated on the back side of the clubhouse with marvelous view of the Lafayette River and marina. Lunch and dinner are served Tuesday through Sunday. We have a stellar wine list and our lunch, dinner and dessert menus are sure to please all tastes. The restaurant features a large bar, tall ceilings, booths, high top tables, flatscreen TVs, and a balcony with additional seating. 36° North is the perfect spot to enjoy a night out with friends or dinner for a special occasion. Children ages 12 and under are not permitted in 36º North. Children ages 13-17 are permitted in 36º North if accompanied by an adult member. Persons age 18 and older may enjoy 36º North unaccompanied.
The Galley
Our poolside cafe, renovated in 2019, is open seasonally (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Its casual, family friendly atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to grab a bite during a long day a the pool. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, first come first serve. The menu features kid favorites, healthy options, and soft serve ice cream for those hot summer afternoons.
