The Fitness Center is a two-story, state of the art facility boasting floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Lafayette River, 3 outdoor seasonal pools, an indoor pool and spa, 2 full locker rooms, 2 state of the art squash courts, a group fitness studio, and youth activities room.
A wide variety of state of the art cardio equipment including brand new Life Fitness treadmills, ellipticals, flex striders and bikes as well as rowing machines, arc trainers and spin bikes allow for every opportunity to get a great cardiovascular workout. Along with our 24 cardio machines and 13 spin bikes we have a new free weight area, plate loaded Hammer Strength equipment and selectorized line. We provide training tools such as a TRX and Synergy 360 systems, jump ropes, physio-balls, BOSU trainers, resistance bands, balance boards and medicine balls to keep anyone engaged in a great workout. For outdoor activities, the Fitness Center provides 3 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for your enjoyment.
Group Fitness
With a full schedule of group exercise classes, such as RIP, Pilates, Yoga, Cardio Dance, Kettlebell, Spin, Barre, and much more meets every need.
Personal Training
Personal training is available for all members, young and old. We offer group training, or one on one sessions. Our elite staff of exercise specialists can assist with equipment orientations as well as wellness checks.
Massage Therapy
To complete your experience, our highly qualified massage therapists offer a wide range of spa services from deep tissue massage to reflexology to signature scrubs to detox wraps. After a hard workout or a relaxing massage, sit in our steam room or sauna located in both in our men’s and women’s locker rooms.
Childcare
NYCC offers childcare to children ages 6 months to 7 years old. Our childcare room offers a variety of activities to keep your children engaged while you work out. Children can use the child care room for 2 hours a day. Reservations are preferred as capacity is limited. We frequently offer childcare services during special member events and also host special evening childcare Parent’s Night Out’s where parents can utilize other areas of the club while youngsters are entertained by the staff.
