Do I have to be a member of Norfolk Yacht to hold an event?

No you do not have to be a member.  Non-members need to be sponsored by a club member.  We can assist you in finding a sponsor if you do not have one.

May I host a meeting or event without food and beverage service?

Yes, a room usage fees will apply. 

Can I provide my own food and liquor?

Norfolk Yacht is a full-service facility and all food and beverage must be provided by the Club with the exception of wedding cakes, which may be brought in from an outside vendor. 

Do I have to rent my own linen, china and glassware?

Tables at your event can be clothed with either white or vanilla linen. All glassware, china and flatware are provided. If you choose, you may bring in rented linen, china or glassware from an outside vendor.

What type of menus are offered by Norfolk Yacht and Country Club?

Our menus offer light and heavy hors d'oeuvres, stations, full buffets and plated meal options from which to choose for breakfast, lunch, and dinner events. We also offer smaller continental menus for morning events.

Do you have audio visual equipment available on site?

We have a full list of equipment available for use during your scheduled event. We offer everything from pianos and microphones to projectors and screens. The Ballroom and Regency Room both have a permanent drop down screen available in the rooms. Small fees may apply to some equipment. A robust wifi system is always available.

Can you recommend vendors to help me plan my event?

We can provide you with a list of local vendors that are familiar with Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
