Entries: The $90.00 entry fee covers the Friday Evening Skippers’ Meeting, regatta, picnic buffet reception and awards ceremony at NYCC (1730 hours Saturday) for the skipper plus up to two crew, free dockage for racing boats at NYCC piers Friday and Saturday nights.  Additional crew may attend the picnic for $25 each. No entries accepted after the end of the Skippers’ Meeting. To acquire free dockage for the event, dockage must be arranged by July 1. If after July 1, dockage will be billed at our normal transient rates. Please contact Sailing Director, Duffy Danish, [email protected] with your request. Course and Times: Course will be within Hampton Roads Harbor and Norfolk Harbor Reach. Racing mark designators will conform to the CCV Racing marks for Hampton Roads Harbor as published in the current CCV Racing Guide. First class flag at 0930 hours (RRS rule 26). Boats not finished by 1500 hours will be scored DNF.

Skippers‘ Meeting: 1830 hours on Friday, July 12th at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club. Fleet splits, if any, will be announced at the meeting. A representative for each boat should be present at the skippers’ meeting. Copies of the CCV Racing marks will be available. This is a mandatory meeting. NYCC will provide a zoom link to those unable to appear in person.

Classes: PHRF Spinnaker, ORC Performance Cruiser, Non-Spinnaker and Cruising.  NS and Cruising classes may split fleets, based on PHRF ratings. NS boats may fly double headsails, single headsails only for Cruising class.

Race Concept: The regatta will be a mid-distance race. Awards will be presented to the top 3 boats in each class/fleet. Sailing Instructions are published on the race website (www.norfolkyacht.com/dinkvail).
