For the safety of our members and staff, the Annual Meeting of the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club will be held online virtually on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. There will not be in-person attendance at the annual meeting this year. The agenda for the meeting will primarily cover the election of officers and four members of the Board of Governors, committee reports, update on the Facilities Enhancement Plan and to transact such other business as may properly come before this meeting.
Under Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution of the Club, only Members of the Club have the right to vote at the Annual Meeting.
The Nominating Committee has proposed the following slate of officers and governors for 2021:

The Club’s Constitution requires that at least ten (10) percent of the Members attend the meeting online to have a quorum, and it is urged that all Members are present for the virtual meeting which will be set up on the
GoToWebinar platform. Please register by clicking the link below.
Any member who has opted for e-mail notifications shall receive his or her proxy by e-mail, and any member who has not so opted for e-mail notifications shall receive his or her proxy by postal U.S. mail. All proxies will be distributed the week of January 10, 2021. Your proxy must be returned to the Secretary of the Club no later than 8:30 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021.

No Double Votes
On the off chance you receive both a secure
eBallot link and a paper copy of the proxy,
it is required that you submit only 1 proxy, preferably online through
eBallot. Paper ballot will be gladly accepted by return mail or in the Clubhouse drop box.
