Do I have to be a member of Norfolk Yacht to hold my event?
Members and their sponsored guests are welcome to host events at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
May I host a meeting or event without food and beverage service?
Yes, only small room usage fees will apply.
Can I provide my own food and liquor?
Norfolk Yacht is a full-service facility and all food and beverage must be provided by the Club with the exception of wedding cakes, which may be brought in from an outside vendor.
Do I have to rent my own linen, china and glassware?
Dinner tables at your event can be clothed with either short white or vanilla linen; other tables can be clothed and skirted with white or vanilla cloths. All glassware, china and flatware are provided at no additional charge. If you choose, you may bring in rented linen, china or glassware from an outside vendor.
What type of menus are offered by Norfolk Yacht and Country Club?
Our menus offer several light and heavy hors d'oeuvres, stations, full buffets and plated meal options from which to choose for breakfast, lunch, and dinner events. We also offer smaller continental menus for meeting breaks. All menu's are listed below.
Do you have any decorating restrictions?
No signs, posters or other materials will be allowed to be pinned, taped or affixed in any way to doors, walls or ceilings of the Club’s meeting rooms without prior approval from the Catering Department. Damages or changes to Club property, or additional set-up or clean-up will result in additional charges.
Do you have audio visual equipment available on site?
We have a full list of equipment available for use during your scheduled event. We offer everything from pianos and microphones to projectors and screens. The Ballroom and Regency Room both have a permanent drop down screen available in the rooms. Small fees may apply to some equipment. Click here for a full list of available equipment.
